The mystical tree of life is masterfully rendered in stunning dichroic glass, celebrating the unity and inherent beauty of all things.
Dichroic glasswork dates to 4th century Rome, where it was prized for its ability to change color in the light and mesmerizing iridescent sheen.

In 2003 Johana Vazques was a single mom in Guadalajara struggling to support five children on her own when she heard about Dichrodreams -- a local enterprise which taught locals the art of dichroic glassmaking. Johana entered the training program and was soon making beautiful jewelry. She began earning a living wage, and her family's future changed forever.
Johana puts it this way: ""Through my hard and skilled work I have been able to give food, shelter, education, and medical attention to my five kids. Two of the older ones now work in the company. It has been a world of opportunities for all of us.""
Iridescent dichroic glass is made by combining crystal and metal at high heat, an art form that originated in ancient Rome. The artisans of Dichrodreams took the craft a step further by incorporating sterling silver into the mix in 1999, experimenting with new techniques. The result is an exceptional work of art. Today Dichrodreams jewelry is sold in 55 countries, making it a leader in the dichroic glass and silver jewelry industry.
I had the “Tree of Life” in green dichroic that I loved. Unfortunately I lost one of the earrings and keep hoping she would make them again in green again. They look like emeralds in the light. I ordered the blue “tree of life” and they are also beautiful but I really miss wearing my green ones.
Tree of Life earrings are beautiful. The size of a dime. Great quality.
Love this site for all the nice items and to help the animals. Now, let me say, another purchaser of these pretty and yes, small earrings gave a so so and inaccurate review (measure wise). I had to say her review based on her inaccuracy of her measurement added to her disappointment, hence her stating she wouldn't be ordering any future items. Well, seriously madam, understand what you are reading and know your measurements. It's very unfortunate she thought the earrings she was going to receive were FOUR inches (HER mistake). Also, those would be a tad large? However, the ACTUAL MEASUREMENT of these earrings are 0.4" CLEARLY shown on the screen. Surely anyone can make a mistake, but read the measurement, then check once again. Just to make certain. That's all.
